Overview

A mobile investment and entrepreneurship platform prototype developed as a course project and later selected as a Regional Finalist in the Philippine Startup Challenge 9, Region VI. The prototype connects entrepreneurs and investors through verified profiles, business listings, communication, portfolio tracking, and market information.

Entrepreneurs face challenges finding funding and business partners

Solution

The prototype brings the investor and entrepreneur experience into one mobile workflow. Users can create verified profiles, explore business or investment opportunities, communicate with other users, and monitor portfolios. Separate dashboards organize the tools and information based on each user's role.

System Design

The prototype uses a role-based mobile workflow with separate experiences for entrepreneurs and investors. The interface is structured around discovery, evaluation, communication, and portfolio management, with reusable components and connected user flows designed in Figma.

Outcome and Impact

The prototype was selected as a Regional Finalist in the Philippine Startup Challenge 9, Region VI, demonstrating the ability to translate a business problem into a structured product experience.
